DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Al's journey began in Peru before he ventured to the United States in 1999, settling in the vibrant community of Grand Rapids, Michigan with his family. His dedication to service led him to join the US Marine Corps from 2005 to 2013, deploying overseas as an infantryman in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2010, Al embarked on his visual storytelling career at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, and later, decided to pursue his studies at Webster University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with a Minor in Photography.
Now, Al is expanding his horizons a bit further as he pursues his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Missouri. But amidst his endeavors, Al's heart remains devoted to his two wonderful boys, his love for music, his culinary adventures as a food aficionado, and his dreams of becoming a DJ. Professionally, Al has been a part of many great productions, earning several Emmy® Awards for his work as a Director of Photography. Currently, he joins the incredible and talented team at Spot Content Studio in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri, where he executes the duties of DP and Colorist. Thank you for stopping by.
